Trisha Pickelhaupt is a director, DP, producer, and editor based in NYC and Buffalo, NY. With a BFA in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology, Trisha specializes in documentary, branded content, and romantic dramedy. Formerly an employee at NPR & ABC, she draws on her background in non-fiction storytelling to inform her work across genres. Her narrative directorial debut, Buffalo 10, has screened at more than 10 international festivals. She is currently editing her next short film, Line Cutters, which she co-directed with her longtime collaborator Claire Orrange. Her main interest lies in telling naturalistic stories of womanhood, queerness, and intergenerational connection.
